BECA Students Radio Show “Crave” Goes Viral in Italy

"Crave" is made up of three friends, three personalities, and three different interests who come together to share their passions.

The radio show first took to the air on February 22, 2023 and has already gained international attention.

The program is a mixture of soul-searching angst, deep culture dives, Italian-American passion, the ups and downs of relationships, and even 49ers football. All with a sprinkle of existential crisis.

Its hosts, Samantha Ferro, Alex Lopez, and Jennifer Gee are BECA majors enrolled in Professor Jacoby’s BECA 505 KSFS Radio and Podcasting II.

Ferro grew up in Milan and delves into various aspects of Italian culture, including fashion, art, music, and more, with a particular attention to local companies and artists. Lopez is an avid sports enthusiast bringing a focus on NFL football and the 49ers. While Gee takes a different path, exploring personal growth, relationships, and the many opportunities life presents.   

“Crave” has been featured in several Italian news outlets including Corriere della Sera, Aise, and il Cittadino Italiano.
