BECA Ties That Bind: 580 Reunion
In the summer of 2010, a group of BECA students traveled to El Salvador to produce a video for Manos de Esperanza, an organization that provides educational assistance and disaster relief for people in El Salvador. That video is still in use!
BECA alum Jordan Brown organized a Zoom reunion for students who made that trip. Mr. David Mendoza, founder of Manos de Esperanza, gave a brief update on the organization. Jordan organized a slide show of photos from the trip, and he also led a trivia game to identify the source of quotes from student journals. Then each person had a chance to update the rest of the group on what they are doing now. The thirteen of us who gathered together – two from the East Coast, one from Salt Lake City, and the rest from California – had a great time reconnecting
