Scholar Strike Announcement

The BECA Department supports the Scholar Strike for Racial Justice on Tuesday 9/8 and Wednesday 9/9. This is an opportunity for academia to come together and focus for two days on systemic racism and anti-Blackness, whether by augmenting our planned curriculum and/or canceling classes to facilitate participation in teach-ins, virtual panels and forums, etc. You can find resources at the Scholar Strike for Racial Justice website and read more about the strike’s conception in this article in Inside Higher Ed.
