Dr. Dina Ibrahim (second from the right) presented her research on "How TV News Makes Arabs and Muslims Feel About Themselves" at the 2019 meeting of the Broadcast Education Association (BEA). The session was titled “Recent Research on Race/Gender/Class/Media: A High Density Session” moderated by Dr. Rebecca Ann Lind of the University of Illinois, Chicago, recipient of the 2019 BEA Research Award. Dr. Ibrahim's updated book chapter was just published in the fourth edition of the textbook “Race/Gender/Class/Media: Considering Diversity Across Audiences, Content, and Producers” Edited by Rebecca Ann Lind, Routledge, 2019.
