On June 8, 2019, LCA Dean Andrew Harris and BECA faculty and staff attended the annual San Francisco/Northern California Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) Emmy® Awards gala. The chapter bestowed their highest honor, "The Governors' Award" to BECA in recognition of the department's significant contributions to the industry for the last 70+ years.
