Want to see in person what BECA has to offer? Tours of the facilities are now available! Starting from outside the main BECA office, tours provide information about studying in the BECA program and visit key areas, including KSFS, the BECA radio station; video and sound editing laboratories; television studio facilities; and more.

Have you, as a writer, student or producer, ever wondered whether to pursue a project in print vs. broadcast form? For two dozen years David King Dunaway has lived at the crossroads of writing and broadcasting, producing award-winning radio and TV documentaries. Currently Distinguished Visiting Professor at San Francisco State, Dunaway will present a look into the life of folk musician Pete Seeger, to consider the differences between presenting a life in print and in broadcast form.

Deadline for the BECA Commencement applications are due: as soon as possible
The application along with the payment must be submitted to the BECA Department office in CA 133.
May 14th, 2009 is an absolute deadline by which to submit the applications.

The Scholarship deadline has been extended to 11 a.m., April 24th, 2009. All Scholarship Application materials must be submitted to the BECA Department office in CA 133 by the extended deadline.
