The BECA Department will be closed at noon on Friday, Dec. 21 and will reopen at the start of Winter Session, Wednesday, January 2 at 9 am. BECA Department Office Winter Session Jan. 2 to Jan. 18. Office Hours will be
M-Th 9 am to noon and 1 pm - 4 pm
Fridays 9 am to noon.

The following BECA faculty will have advising hours during Finals Week:
Dr. Patterson Wednesday, December 19 from 1-3pm in CA133
Dr. Houlberg Thursday, December 20 from 11 am- 1 pm in CA 33

Larry Whitney has been a member of the BECA faculty for over 25 years. In addition to teaching studio and advanced directing and editing, Larry has also taught various versions of the aesthetics class. During his time at SFSU, Larry has also had his writings published, and he authored a motion picture. Larry has always been ready to work with the students to improve and polish their writing and production skills. As a colleague, Larry has always brought a ray of light into boring meetings and been available to work for the advancement of the rest of us.

During a November 26th broadcast of CBS Eyewitness news, Dr. Dina Ibrahim, BECA Assistant Professor, commented on President Bush’s recent peace talks with Israel’s prime minister and the president of the Palestinian authority. Check out the video.
