Music Video Freelance Position
Music Video Producer
Boutique Music Video Production Company (owned by director) seeks experienced Music Video Producer for freelance work.
Description:
- Director shoots approx. once/month
- Shoots are typically 1-2 days in length
- All shoots are film (Super 16mm or Super 35mm)
- Budgets fall between 12k - 40k USD
- Since the Director acts as Exec. Producer the actual Producer is only needed for the Pre-production and Production period, e.g., all Post-Production after film processing is managed/booked/handled by the Director/Exec.
- Typical pre-production period is 5 - 7 business days
- Producer is compensated at 6.25% of total budget (e.g., 40k video = $2,500.00 producer's rate and 12K video = $750.00 producer's rate) up to $2,500.00 (unless of course there is an extended production period or some other atypical circumstance)
Requirements/Qualifications:
1. Must have produced at least 5 music videos
2. Must have a reel (or viewable on YouTube), with references for produced videos
3. If shortlisted you must have 3 industry references that you're willing to have us contact
4. You're a very capable and fast worker who can put together an entire music video in about 1 week on tight resources while maintaining a positive attitude the entire time
