MPAA Apologizes for Blaming Students
Apparently the MPAA has been using dodgy statistics to point the finger at college students as the worst offenders in the piracy/illegal downloading crime wave. The 2005 study was used to pressure college campuses into "securing" their networks and supporting legislation of further restrictions. The MPAA is very sorry for its error; read all about it here.
