PAID MUSIC INTERNSHIP WITH SONY PLAYSTATION

Music Editor Intern
Foster City, CA and San Diego, CA
(30 hours per week, $10.00 hour)
The Music Editor Intern will report directly to the Senior Music Supervisor. The candidate will also work and take direction from Music Supervisors and Music Production Associates. This position involves a great variety of tasks within a fast paced environment of scoring video games with adaptive music. The candidate will have strong organizational skills and be proficient with MS Excel and MS Word. The candidate will also need to be familiar with the recording software Pro Tools. The candidate will need to have excellent verbal communication skills and be a team player. The candidate most also have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. The candidate must have an interest in current video games and music of all genres. The Intern will need to be punctual, reliable and be able to take directions well.
Please note that they also have a Music Assistant Internship that requires credit. Unfortunately, it's too late to sign up for the internship class (the ONLY way you can receive credit for an internship from our program) this semester. BUT if you still want to apply, here's the information:
Music Department Assistant Intern
Foster City, CA
(15 – 20 hours per week, Unpaid / Work for school credit only)
The Music Department Assistant Intern will report directly to the Music Producer and Music Department Assistant. The candidate must possess strong organizational skills. The candidate must also have knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word and possess outstanding internet research skills. A familiarity with indie and major record labels is a plus. The candidate must be a team player and have a positive attitude. The candidate must have an interest in current video games and music of all genres. The Intern will need to be punctual, reliable and be able to take directions well.
